MLHG.ORG Formally introduced to the history group.
At Thursday 16th January 2025 meeting of mlhg we had our usual winter Members Night event. This was the reading and presentation of the village diaries, some via PowerPoint presentation and some read directly from a notebook.
After a short presentation of some research that the chairperson Linda Hodson had done regarding a local family I delivered a short presentation about the transition from the old website, kirkbymalham.info, to the new website mlhg.org . This focussed on the technical problems of the old site and the many advantages of the new site. Members had a look at the new site on their mobile phones and many were impressed with the clarity and layout. Overall, the new site was well received.
Of course we then had tea/coffee and biscuits with time to chat. Next meeting is the AGM.
